Access control terminals are electronic devices that manage to open doors, fences, gates or any other king of safe opening system for vehicles entrance or restricted areas.

There is a wide range of access control devices with different features, but they usually are made up of control hardware, user’s interface, keyboard, display, leds, beeper, digital inputs and reader. Readers enable user authentication by a RFID card, smart card or magnetic stripe. In a biometric access control system, users are identified by fingerprint or other physical feature.

Access control is used in different applications and sectors such as: domestic environments ( houses, apartment complexes…), server rooms, car parks, domotic applications, comercial and industrial access and so on…or any reserved or safety areas.
