Access control system integrate with the exhibition selling tickets system. The selling tickets system prints the tickets with a code bar which is read in an access control gate to the exhibition.

This solution is very useful for those exhibitions which show delicate materials which don’t permit a movement of the structure. This is the reason to implement a mixed solution composed of access control gate combined with two PDA mobile devices to speed up the access control in case of large number of people.

CONTROL ACCESS SYSTEM INTEGRATE WITH THE EXHIBITION SELLING TICKETS SYSTEM

The solution shows a total system which makes two basic functions, selling tickets and access control:

Tickets printed by the selling tickets system has a code bar, so in access control gates and in mobile devices the identification is taken through the code bar, using a laser code bar reader installed into the devices.

The selling tickets Server and the access control Server are placed in the selling ticket office. Communication through access control gates and access control server bears TCP/IP protocol.

Turnstiles have a network card and mobile devices get connected to the network through a secure Wi Fi access point. The access control gates are composed by a code bar reader, a display which shows tickets validity and a pictograms showing in green allowed access and in red forbidden access, and the access gate remains closed.

Access control gates technology is very flexible allowing to be changed for the one who suits more to end user, fingerprint access control, RFID, magnet stripe, etc.

The access control server doesn’t need high machinery; it’s enough with a computer. This access control server gets communicated with access control gates and mobile devices and makes queries to the selling tickets server to verify those tickets are read and have validity.

Besides, system allows control the exhibition capacity: entrance flow and exit flow, the difference between both gives the current capacity number and is showed in an informative display installed into the exhibition entrance.
All system is controlled through a simple web solution which allows manage access control and selling tickets. Besides, you can know the access data, readers’ configuration, reports and graphics generation, etc.

The solution is ideal to any cultural centre who wants to have an access control to the facilities and, at the same time, wants to integrate with the selling ticket system. So, as far as the access control management and persons flow concerned remains in a unique solution, which integrates all those things.
