Off-line fingerprint terminal for Access Control
User enrollment and deletion are on-line and matching is off-line. IP connectivity integrated in board.
This product's benefits:
- Terminal Kimaldi KBio, reliable and strong module, with all the benefits of biometric technology: without need of cards and without possibility of identity theft
- Users database management is controlled by the host. Previous loaded the users database, users are identified at the device and off-line. Therefore, for normal operation device connection to the host is not required
Description:
Access control system with off-line biometric identification and on-line user database management. With TCP/IP, Wi-Fi or RS-232 connection, or CAN depending on the project.
Main features
- Working: after the identifications the terminal sends to the host the results of the each one. Besides, keeps an event with the date and time it’s been done, and can be recovered through a command sent from the host.
- Access Control system using biometric reader FIM 20.
- It mixes on-line functionality controlled by the host, so you can: manage all the users database, junction keys use, monitoring of the digital inputs, system controlled in real time and relay opening
- Off-line functionality or stand alone manages: users detection, users identification, relay opening.
- Maximum user number: 1,000 / 4,000 fingerprints
- Connections RS-232, TCP/IP and UDP, Wi-Fi with converter RS-232 to Wi Fi (or CAN depending on the project).
- Status leds: feeding, identified user, non identified user.
- Acoustic signal beeper, digital inputs and relay output.
- Optionally, the KBio terminal can incorporate internally a proximity reader for RS-232, TCP / IP and Wi-Fi versions. With a RFID reader, 1:1 verification is made quickly and locally in the terminal, even working with 4,000 users.
- Drivers: OCX Windows and DLL and DLL.NET.
- Available with ASCII commands.
There is as well a plastic case and OEM version: it's possible to supply the electronic board, fingerprint sensor or other components separately.
Typical applications:
- Specially suitable for applications with one or some devices (TCP/IP, RS-232, Wi-Fi, CAN connection) and the users database is remotely controlled and centralized. Also, once the equipments has been configured, can have a stand alone working, completely off-line with no need of host, or reporting an event (from device to host) after every access attempt.
- Examples: Hotels, health resorts, universities, office buildings, rest homes, hospitals, night patrol control, casinos, clubs...
