Semi-standalone fingerprint terminal for Access Control
Biometric access control system suitable for domotic sector
Description:
Access control system with biometric fingerprint identification. Standalone working mode, all the events are sent on-line. Suitable solution for Domotic because allows RS-232 interface to receive the events
Main features
- Access Control system using biometric reader FIM10
- Users enrollment and detection are done using function keys. Previous master identification is required
- Biometric reader is activated automatically when detectes the finger at the sensor's cavity, and then achieves the matching 1:N with the stored fingerprints. If it finds ( at its data base ) one fingerprint that matches with the fingerprint on the sensor, it activates the leds and beeper and open the relay.
- With this functionality the fingerprint's register is realized locally at the same reader that will be used for the identifications
- It enables to store up to 100 fingerprints
- Interface RS-232, TCP/IP or Wi-Fi
- The events are sent by RS-232 interface: when the user is identified, this information is sent to the host and the host actives the relay and open the door. Optionally, it's also available off-line working mode with no connectivity to the host.
- This connectivity allows to control KBio by the PC, PLC or any other device. This functionality is very useful in Domotic and with a wide domotic solutions
It's also available KBio Alone, with a functionality similar to KBio Domo, being KBio Alone a standalone working mode, with no connection to the host
There is as well an OEM version: it's possible to supply the electronic board, fingerprint sensor or others components separately
Typical applications
- Domotic environments, connectivity to PC or host
- Restricted access rooms: meeting rooms, server room, laboratories, CPD's, warehouses, domotic housing, apartments, offices...
