On-line fingerprint terminal for Access Control

Total flexibility so biometric reader working is controlled from the host. IP connectivity integrated in board.

Description:

Access Control system with biometric fingerprint identification. On-line working mode terminal.

System features

Biometrical fingerprint access control and in addition with proximity reading and magnet stripe (see finishes and models).

Completely controlled by host: resources’ total controlled by program and readings and direct events in host. Data base in host.

On-line working

On-line functionality is the most flexible, so all system behaving is directly controlled from the host. Needs a connexion all time.

Press a key, changes in digital inputs, finger detection and sending information from biometrical reader are reported to the host.

Usually matching is done in the host by using SDK libraries’ search engines of the fingerprint desktop reader. If the identification is correct the relay opens the door.

Doing the match in the host (PC or similar) the users number can be much higher. For a standard PC would be around a maximum of 20.000 users and a comparised time near to 1 second.

User interface

Three keys keyboard. Being pressed, the keys do the echo in the host.

Fingerprint detection system.

Feeder led indicators, identified user and not identified user. Include acoustic signals and digital inputs.

Host connections

RS-232, TCP/IP and UDP, Wi-Fi with converter RS-232 to Wi-Fi (or CAN depend on projects).
