Description:
Kimaldi SC42 is a read&write memory chip card SLE 4442 and SLE5542 of 256 bytes
RS-232 interface and it can be connected to card printers, motorized readers or accepters with smart contact
On-line and Off-line functionalities
On-line functionality is controlled by commands, from the host, all the system resources. Off-line functionality can read memory from the smart card just inserting it. Reading direction and data length are configurable.
Communication protocol by ASCII commands, so it is compatible with different programming environments.
The device has emulation functionality with the discontinued Kimaldi KMD42.
