Terminal can be configured to work in offline mode (with decision autonomy and managing logs through software) or to work in standalone mode (completely controlled through terminal menus). Offline mode allows remote control and real time monitoring of terminal and accesses, while if it works in standalone mode there’s no need of PC or software.
Besides, terminal can be integrated in an access control switchboard network through Wiegan connectivity, so it’s a good option to contribute with security in an existing installation. You just need to replace the card reading or keyboard connected to Wiegan, for the access control biometric device.

Its working is very intuitive and ergonomic, so its use is ideal for any person. Screen messages, even English voice ones, allow guiding user during the operative.

If it works in offline mode needs to be connected to a PC by TCP/IP network and controlled by software. Access and time attendance control terminal NAC-2500 Plus includes Access control software : Access Manager. Centralized and managed access logs by Access Manager Software can be exported to a comprehensible format for other software (for example: time attendance control software), so its integration in existing systems it’s very easy. Besides, there’s the SDK for custom made software programming, these SDK includes open projects for an easy programming and developing.

System is compatible with Biometric desktop reader Hamster and HamsterII, these desktop equipments are recommended for fingerprint captures for system registering in a friendly and quickly way from its reception. Overall if terminals are installed far from registering point.

Captured fingerprints in NAC-2500 terminal are compatibles with captured fingerprints with earlier versions of the terminal, and also with biometric fingerprint captured with Access control and time attendance device NAC-3000, NAC-5000, FingKey Access and Kimaldi Kreta3, BioMax2 and Kbio devices.
