Low Frequency RFID reader-writers that operate at 125 kHz frequency. They cover the distance from 5 to 90 centimeters.

They are distributed in readers – they read data from cards and tags – and reader/writers – they are able to read and record the code from cards and tags.
Read range depend on the model, so you can choose the device which better fits to your application
