Innovative functionalities
Moreover all the functionalities for access control and time&attendance solutions (doors management, readers, time schedules, permissions and so), this system has extra functionalities that offer added value and new solutions and applications.
- Upgradable firmware at the installation through RS-232 or TCP/IP.
- Alarm for open door without permission. Door’s state is monitorized by digital inputs, if the door is open without permission a relay will be activated for alarm control.
- Alarm management for shift working changes. It’s able to activate acoustic signal to announce shift working changes. You can configure up to three different shift working
- Anti-passback. It can be activated by configuration
- Capacity management. It’s able to configurate maximum capacity, not allowing the entrance for more users once has arrived at the limit.
- Work hour management. By a personal message, every employee can know the number of hours he/she has worked.
- Auxiliary modules management. The module can manage an electronic board remotely connected to RS-232 port. This auxiliary electronic board allows to manage other keyboard, other display, more digital inputs and relays. If the communication is cut off, a relay is activated for alarm.
- Different users’ enrolment. Fingerprint enrolment for users can be done:
- Remotely. Fingerprints are captured by desktop biometric scanner and then they are sent to the terminal and enrolled by communications port.
- Local immediate. Fingerprints are stored in the terminal just at the moment the user is enrolled.
- Local delayed. User is enrolled but the fingerprint information is not stored (a numerical PIN is assigned). Fingerprints user are captured automatically the first time the user has access to the terminal and is identified by the PIN.
- Off-line and on-line doors management. Software management can control the door on-line.
- Connectivity: Host connectivity can be done through IP connection and RS-232 completely integrated. Optionally with Wi-Fi connection through converter.
- Compatibility: Terminal adds data compatibility. Biometric fingerprints are compatible with the biometric desktop reader Hamster, access control and time&attendance control online terminal BioMax2, access control terminal Kbio2, access control and time&attendance control terminals NAC-2500 and NAC-3000. Besides, adds protocol continuity, in case of new versions they’re always compatible with previous versions.
- Optionally the terminal can control a ticket printer, through which you can print clock in/out receipts for when someone visit the office and needs a visit receipt.
