Description:
Dual interface reader/writer RFID 13.56 MHz and smart card. Its dual interface it’s very useful for environments using both kinds of cards, proximity and smart card.
Omnikey 5321 USB dual reader allows users to experience the convenience, speed and security of the proximity technology for applications which includes logon to Windows®, networks, web sites and applications for the secure storage of user names, passwords and personal information.
The use of RFID technology and smart card for applications linked to PC depends on the use and needs of each customer and its application has no limit.
The use of this reader is based in standard intefaces like PC/SC, OCF (Open Card Framework), API or CT-API.
Supports three ISO standards for contactless cards (ISO 14443 A/B and 15693), and the ISO 7816 and EMV (Europay®, MasterCard®, Visa®), Microsoft WHQL and HBCI (Home Banking Computer Interface) industry standards for contact cards.
Reader supports contactless smart cards with up to 848 Kbps in the fastest ISO 14443 transmission mode.
Movement detection with auto power-off. Automatic detection of smart card type. Short circuit and thermal protection.
