Concretely, in this application have been used smart card readers Kimaldi KMD6000 and KMD6000Plus ( chip type WG10 or TIBC ). These readers have been installed in different buildings, such as Rector’s office and Ronda Norte building at the Miguel Hernández University in Elche ( Alicante ). Students, teaching staff and employees control to different rooms, restricted areas or car-park.
But it isn’t just for access control, smart card readers can be used as well as purse cards, so it has many bank applications. User can pay with the card easily, so there is no need to have money on. For this kind of application have been used bank cards such as: Euro6000, Visa, Cash…
