Description:

Access Control system for lockers has 2 kinds of electronic locks:

1. Electronic lock with Access Control:

System of electronic lock with integration to Access Control keeps the card memory of Mifare cards, information that can be recover by Access Control or the reporter terminal.

Advantages:

We can know the battery state through the lock
We have information when a locker is liberated by the user
The reporter terminal knows the locker state and through of him, we will be able to know which locker will have.

The access control system to lockers or pigeonholes consists of 5 elements:

Autonomous locks for lockers with RFID Mifare reader
Desktop reader for card made or user wristbands, and configuration.
Informing terminal to remember the user its assigned locker, in case it has been forgotten (optionally)
Access control terminal to installations; the same card or wristband to accede to installations can be user to control lockers (optionally).
RFID Mifare cards or wristbands

Electronic proximity locks for lockers:

RFID Mifare reader integrated
Battery supply. Auxiliary external power supply in case of being closed with batteries off.
When battery is off it records a flag on user’s card or wristband, which is recovered with an informer terminal or with the access control terminal.
2 leds and sound notices can be configured.
Automatic opening of all lockers can be programmed in a fixed hour. This is important for security and maintenance requirements.
It can be configured in free assignment lockers mode, and also in private assignment lockers to a user.

Desktop reader to create user’s cards:

RS-232 or USB connectivity
Allows create user’s card/wristband from blank Mifare cards/wristband.
Allows create configuration cards through blank Mifare cards.
Allows assign the lockers a client or installation code, which can generate security keys to protect Mifare cards.
The reader has a communication protocol to program the application and to integrate with the installation managing software (resort, spa, sport centre…)

Information terminal:

Main purpose of the Information Terminal is remembering users which is their assigned locker.
User places the card close the terminal and it shows the locker’s number assigned.
Standalone terminal.
Available in same finishes Office or Inox.

Access control system:

Manages the entrance to installations (main access to a sport centers, gyms, SPA…) with the same RFID card/wristband with which manages the lockers.
Any of the Kimaldi’s Access Control BioMax, Kbio, NdCAN or NdCANMax equipments can be used, as log as the compatible reader with proximity lockers is added.
Online connectivity via TCP/IP or CAN.
Available in Office, Inox or OEM Kit finishes, for integration in access gates.

The systems detect if the locker has been freed from user and, through the software, it can determine if allow the exit leaving the locker assigned or not.
Reads the critical battery state of the used locker.

Applications:

Ideal to control lockers management and integrate with access control to installations in: sport centers, gyms, stadiums, spas and resorts, golf courses, fireman brigades, hospitals, schools and universities, staff changing room…

2.- Electronic lock with no Access Control

The electronic lock without incorporation with Access Control assigns the UID of Mifare card to a locker. The information doesn’t save in the card, therefore you can use any Mifare card.

Advantages:

It doesn’t need a Software or a reader for the normal use, is a cheaper solution
The users cards It doesn’t need a start initialize.
Available with any Mifare card.

It has 2 elements:

Electronic RFID lock.

A desktop reader for configuration cards creation only for the installation

Connectivity RS-232 o USB
It allows create cards / users bracelet from cards / virgin bracelets Mifare
It allows create configurations cards through virgin Mifare cards
It allows to lockers assigns a customer or installation code, which, at the same time, generate safety keys to protect Mifare
The reader which has a Communications protocol to programme the application and to integrate it with the management software (SPA, sport facilities,…)
