Control of consume and customers through a management system of the beers tap placed in each table of a bar.
This solution has been developed by a Kimaldi Electronics distributor and allows the customers to consume beer or soft drink without asking the waiter anything. The owner or waiter can charge in advance the drinks so the customer can drink comfortably with no need to keeping an eye on the waiter.
This solution brings calm to the waiter, so he can charge in advance consumes. And also gives autonomy to the customer, so he can arrive to the bar with money in his card, consume and leave, with no need to wait in queue to the waiter.
Kimaldi Electronics has provided some of the necessary electronic to carry out this solution:
- Communication board Kimaldi NdCAN Max, has connected a beer meter to count the beer litres which are consumed in each tap.
- Proximity reader Kimaldi RD125K, is connected to a display through a RS-232 connection, so they are far.
The solution incorporates an Electronic valve which is connected to the Communications board, if the user’s identification is positive, the relay is activate and open the tap for the beer. The system counts the litres and discounts the credit card in real time.
SELF-SERVICE BEER SYSTEM
The solution shows a complete system which allows total autonomy in the beer consume. This is how it works:
- The waiter registers the customer using a managing software system, and gives him a user name and a card. The system controls the money of each card in real time an also the money recharges.
- Tap beers are connected to big screens placed all over the bar. There you can visualize some rankings.
- Tap ranking: you can see the quantity consumed in each tap, independently of the identified user. It shows the litres per tap or table. The waiter can reset the litres consumed when he wants, initializing new competitions between the tables.
- Top 5 ranking: shows the 5 taps/tables which have had the highest consume in a session.
- Loyalty ranking: shows the nick of the 5 users who have spent most in beer, since they have an account.
The system implements security measures for a responsible consume, by monitoring in real time the consuming of each card and tap. So allows to restrict consume depending on the moment.
The solution needs an SQL Server connection during all day. It’s a complete solution, so you can manage the users register, the price for beer litre, the tap maintenance and the TPV system, which is connected to the taps in order to charge the cards with money and could be opened to the consume.
It’s a flexible and adaptable solution to the customer needs. It works with id cards, and also it can be used with a biometric control, code bar cards, magnetic stripe cards, tags, etc.Besides, it can work with other kind of drinks like soft drinks. It’s up to the end user needs.
