Facial recognition system for jewelry showcase management

Security solution for opening showcase in jewelry and luxury stores through a face biometric system.

Shops which sells luxury items, like jewelries, has the need to control physical access to the store and also control the products on display, as its value is very high and the loss in case of theft would be very high.

A distributor of us has designed a security system to open showcase through a face recognition system that allows:

• Recognize the identity of employees unequivocally.
• Select functions from the keyboard of the device, like open the window.
• Possibility of generating an error to cause the delay in opening the showcase and a warning the police.

FACE BIOMETRIC SYSTEM, FINGERPRINT BIOMETRIC or RFID SYSTEM FOR OPENING SHOWCASE

The system developed by this dealer is installing a Kimaldi CAN system to define the security model between the slogans that are sent and received in the showcase.

• The employee is identified in the terminal 3D face recognition.
• The hub Bus sends the signal to the Kimaldi NdCAN Max terminals. A single hub can handle up to 1024 terminals and computer connection can be made by serial port or Ethernet.
• Each terminal NdCAN Max can manage:
  • 2 RFID readers (125kHz o Mifare)
  • 2 digital inputs
  • 4 relay outputs 

In order to cover the management of 2 showcase from a single terminal. 

The opening system of showcase with facial biometrics is complemented by the development of a security software that includes:

• LED indicator on each display to indicate the selected aperture and delay.
• Programmable Timeout.
• Control of the alarm if the alarm goes off long delay time and the opening sequence.
• Checking the status of the windows, allowing open once. Includes beeper / light when you exceed the maximum scheduled opening.
• Solution to identify the time of entry and exit of workers. Also stores the times and the opening time of each of the showcase.

This solution enables optimal management and secure the showcase of a jewelry store or valuables. Provides security, reliability and control of employees and the objects that are manipulated.

The face recognition system can be replaced by the use of biometric fingerprint or vascular biometrics. Or, a RFID system can be integrated with RFID tags RFID bracelet or keyfob.
