The manufacturer of 3D Hanvon facial recognition biometrics reaches the 100,000 terminals FaceID installed
Kimaldi is the exclusive distributor of the brand Hanvon, manufacturer of 3D facial biometric terminal FaceID F710. Facial recognition technology is very safe, hygienic and very fast, which facilitates its introduction in multiples environments.
The third phase of the installation of biometric terminals 3D face recognition in China Citic Bank successfully completed in early 2012 and helped to complete the 100.000 terminals installed by the manufacturer.
The terminal FaceID 3D facial recognition has been implemented in various offices of the Asian bank, Credit Card Center in the R & D Center and the Service Center.
The purpose of the project has focused on replacing the identification of people and access control and presence of radio frequency (RFID) for a biometric 3D face recognition, with its unique features:
- Hygienic: enrollment and identification without contact between the person and the terminal.
- Very Fast identification:
- 1 second with 500 users.
- It also performs 1:1 verification or in combination with RFID card or PIN.
- Security and 3D technology:
- The grid and the dual LED camera (visible and infrared) allows to capture the 3D pattern of the cranial face.
- This technology allows to distinguish apparently identical twins.
- Due to it's 3D and infrared detection can not be faked his face with masks or pictures (unlike the computers 2D).
During the last 3 years the facial recognition technology it has been gaining acceptance to the point of replacing the classic radio frequency identification (RFID), as shown in the news.

The Polish bank BPS Bank is the first bank in Europe to integrate biometric ATMs with vascular biometrics technology from Hitachi
The project integrates vascular biometric readers in the ATM network of a Polish bank, the first to use vascular biometrics to perform operations on the ATM's.
According to an article by CNN World website, the Polish bank BPS Bank is the first bank in Europe to integrate their ATM vascular biometric reader for online banking.
With the integration of biometric vascular reader from Hitachi, the ATM network is highly secure and facilitates the use for bank customers, and will not be dependent on a card, or to remember a pin number.
BIOMETRIC VASCULAR READER HITACHI FINGERVEIN
The vascular biometric reader used to develop the design of biometric ATM has been the vascular biometric Hitachi reader FingerVein that Kimaldi integrates to its vascular biometric Kimaldi FingerVein terminal.
The biometric system uses reading vascular functions with a scanner that penetrates through the finger to read the finger vein map of the person you want to identify.
The pattern recognition technology uses the finger vein pattern of finger vein as a biometric key feature. The finger vein pattern is impossible to falsify.
Furthermore, vascular biometrics are not intrusive and allows the users to be recognized quickly, safely and comfortably.
The vascular pattern of the finger is unique and not transferable. To activate the vascular map reading just put your finger on the reader infrared LEDs to penetrate the finger creating an image of the vascular pattern. This image is digitized and stored by associating a user and their access rights, to be used at ATMs.
The integration of the vein pattern scanner is an advanced Hitachi FingerVein step in the safety and convenience of ATMs.
