This solution has been developed with the purpose of control the water is used in bathrooms and showers of a sport centre, hotel, camping or apartments.
Drought has been taking positions in the main points of our worries. Dams haven’t as many water as it’s expected and all proposals about water are welcome. The question is: how to get a rational use of water before we get drastically affected?
Considering this complexity, and the need of a rational management of water for both public and private administrations, one of our distributors has developed a solution to control the consumer’s spent of water in gyms, hotels, campings, apartments, etc.
For that he has implemented an off-line customer’s management system, through the electronic board Kbio 2 with a Mifare or 125kHzradiofrequency reader, assigning to each customer a tag wristband by means of which can control the turning on or turning off of the shower.
FLOW WATER AND TIME WATER CONTROL
The place where the solution is implemented has counter flows, by means which can count the water spent of the different areas of the centre. Specifically, the water of showers is controlled through two different ways: flow and time.
- Flow is controlled through the water quantity and the pressure of the water showers.
- Time is controlled through a system which programs a time for the shower when is turned on.
The customer turns on the shower with the tag wristband, the water runs during the programmed time and if the customer wants more water he turns on again the shower with the tag wristband.
Once the customer has finished using the shower, and before it turns off automatically, the customer can turn off the shower in order not to consume all the time water. For that, the customer will put his tag wristband near to the shower and the water will be cut.
This solution is very useful for places with a big affluence of people using showers or water in a massive way.
This solution also adds value, because we can get a rational use of water and give an ecological value and responsible consume, so necessary nowadays.
So customers will spent less and hotel/centre will benefit of a responsible consume and less spent of water. Besides, allows to reward customers which spent less, for example with a discount in monthly instalments or in the price of a hotel room.
The solution allows also different combinations of technology and off-line, on-line and stand-alone terminals.
