Access control to installations of a sport club

Application realized by one of our distributor to manage the access to a sport club, where different technologies and systems have been combined to control the access to the installations.

Nowadays, many sport clubs have different installations, where a thorough access control is required, because not all the users have the same privilege.

Taking into account this complexity and the needs by the administration about the management and control to access, both their users and allowed areas, one of our distributors has realized an application where different technologies and systems are combined to manage the access to the installations.

HALL ACCESS:
Our distributor has developed different solutions to manage to access to the hall, so the last customer will choose the best solution required their needs.

• Support with magnetic stripe reader: in this case, the customer needed to manage the access to the hall by some sliding glass doors. It is about a glass area and far from the construction wall, they decided for the easiest solution. They installed a support at the entrance and exit, and a movement cell that opens the door.
• Glass doors and supports with proximity readers: the hall of this sport club has glass doors, so to offer a light look for the entrance, the devices where integrated not to break the image. To open the door, they installed some supports with GP20 proximity readers. The user must to bring near the proximity card to the support and the glass doors will be opened allowing the access.
• Winchs and proximity or biometric readers: in this application, the hall was bigger, so the distributor installed some winchs to allow the entrance and the exit for the users. Moreover, some wickets were installed, to guarantee the access to disabled people and like emergency exit. They choose, radiofrequency technology and the devices where integrated inside the winchs. It is available, as well, to use biometric technology what is much safer and friendly-use than the radiofrequency technology.

SWIMMING-POOL ACCESS:
Many sport clubs have swimming-pool among their installations. And it is quite usual, that outside people or even the customers, go into the swimming-pool although they don’t have access. In this case, it is an aluminium door and there was not enough room to install a big size solution. For this reason, they installed a magnetic stripe reader at the aluminium door and made the wiring up to the ceiling, where is the electronic board.

OFFICE ACCESS:
In a sport club, it is important to manage the access for the users. Moreover, it is important to manage the access for the staff. For this reason, they realized an access control system to the offices, by a GP20 proximity reader.
