The HID Guardian 45 is an Appendix F (FAP 45) -certified dual-fingerprint optical scanner designed for biometric enrollment and verification programs that require fast, accurate, and reliable results.
The device can capture single or double flat fingerprints, as well as single rolled fingerprints, and is capable of enrolling and verifying one, two, or ten fingers.
Thanks to its illuminated LED icons, the user receives clear visual instructions during the capture process, reducing confusion and improving the user experience.
The product incorporates Moisture Discrimination Optics to capture images of wet fingers and offers an optional silicone membrane to improve image quality for dry fingers. It also includes Presentation Attack Detection (PAD), designed to enhance security against impersonation attempts.
