AI processorThe novelty of the BioStation 2a is that it is powered by an AI processor, NPU (Neural Processing Unit). The application of NPU technology and its processor ensures much faster and more accurate fingerprint recognition, ideal for security solutions.
Through AI learning, the accuracy of fingerprint recognition is significantly increased, including poor quality or damaged fingerprints.
Compared to the previous version of the terminal, it can now authenticate 100,000 users per second compared to 20,000 per second for BioStation 2.
The terminal has a memory of 16 GB Flash + 2GB RAM. Thanks to this memory, the terminal has a storage capacity of 5,000,000 text records.
Allows the integration of new functions by using an extended USB host.
The BioStation 2a terminal offers multiple identification methods such as fingerprint recognition, mobile phone (NFC/BLE) and RFID cards, facilitating the authentication process.
Adaptable to a wide variety of environments. It has IP65 protection and can operate in temperatures between -20ºC and 60ºC, thus adapting to adverse conditions.
