The RealScan S60 scanner is certified by FBI Appendix F. It combines Suprema ID’s patented fingerprint algorithm together with advanced TFT (Thin Film Transistor) optical technology that allows fingerprints from flat and rotated fingers to be captured in high image quality.
Furthermore, Suprema’s algorithm detects fake fingerprints. The scanner can accurately distinguish between real and fake fingers.
FBI certification ensures that the images used are of high quality and compatible with all phases of identification for fingerprint experts and IAFIS.

With advanced finger detection technology (Live Finger Detection), the scanner can distinguish fake fingerprints made from materials such as clay, rubber, silicone, glue, paper, film, and more.
