Compact size

Compact, space-saving reader format is ideal for placement on company desks. It can also be placed directly at the point of sale (POS). It is a robust, shock-resistant reader thanks to the metal casing.

Thanks to the optical scanner technology used in the DigitalPersona U are U 4500 reader, it guarantees high image quality and a large capture area.

Image capture in a few seconds

The reader has a silicone coating that allows a wide range of fingerprints to be read efficiently and quickly, regardless of the angle at which the fingerprint is placed. The reader is guaranteed to work properly with dry, wet or rough fingerprints.

Encrypted fingerprints

When the user places their finger on the reader screen, the device automatically captures and encrypts the fingerprint image before sending it to the DigitalPersona FingerJet™ engine for verification.

When the reader has captured the fingerprint image, it emits a red light to indicate that the capture process has been successful.
