This communication system provides all the components to create a network of readers using the features of CAN bus. As you can see in the figure below, the system connected to a Host COM consists of a converter from which we can connect up to 1.016 Ndcan, Ndcan Max boards, Ndcan 16R, etc through CAN bus.

Each communications board has: CAN bus connection, RS-232 and Clock&data interfaces, relays and depending on the model: digital inputs, display, keyboard connection… We can connect the following readers to the communicacions board: magnetic, proximity or contactless readers, bar code readers, smart card readers, motorized or other RS-232 and Clock&data devices.

Using easy ASCII commands or Windows OCX driver the programmer can control the network of readers.
