A Kimaldi distributor has developed a secure and autonomous access solution for both the users of the centre and the management of the establishment. The main requirement of the sports centre was to implement an access control system that would allow entry at any time of the day without the need for on-site staff. Additionally, it needed to ensure that only members with up-to-date fee payments could gain access.
The access control solution uses Kimaldi Kapri QR code reader integrated with Virtuagym, a renowned software for managing health and fitness centres. This technology allows users to access via a QR code generated on their mobile devices, facilitating quick and secure access. The system is configured to activate an external automatic door and an internal turnstile, ensuring a double level of security.
The QR code reader can read from printed QR codes on paper as well as screens of mobile devices like tablets, smartphones, etc.
This solution has enhanced the user experience by providing a contactless, fast, and personalised access control. Additionally, with the integration of the VirtuaGym software, it has enabled efficient management of gym clients and their respective fees, ensuring access only to authorised users.
