A Kimaldi distributor has developed a secure and self-managed access control solution for both users and administrators in gyms. The sports centre needed to establish an access system that could operate continuously without staff presence, ensuring that only members with up-to-date payments could gain access.
The installed terminal, Kimaldi Kapri with QR code identification, synchronises with PerfectGym software, a global provider of specialised management solutions for fitness and leisure businesses. This system allows access via QR code obtained by users on their mobile phones, facilitating quick and secure entry. This solution is designed to operate on automatic exterior doors as well as turnstiles. The Kapri reader can scan QR codes printed on paper or displayed on electronic device screens.
This access control has enhanced the user experience by providing a direct, contactless, fast access method tailored to each client’s needs. Additionally, the integration with PerfectGym has improved the administration of client accounts at the centre, allowing optimal control over fees and ensuring access only to those who meet the requirements.
