Integration with OEM equipment
The DigitalPersona 4500 module is a fingerprint reader with USB connection for integration into OEM equipment where biometric fingerprint identification and verification is required.
As soon as the user touches the illuminated screen, the module scans the fingerprint.
Compact size
The module’s compact form factor allows it to be integrated into space-constrained locations such as keyboards, touch screens and point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
Excellent image quality
Thanks to the optical scanner technology used in the DigitalPersona 4500 module, it guarantees high image quality and a large capture area.
Image capture in seconds
The reader has a silicone coating that allows it to read a wide range of fingerprints efficiently and quickly, regardless of the angle of the fingerprint placement. The reader is guaranteed to work properly with dry, wet or rough fingerprints.
Encrypted fingerprints
When the user places their finger on the reader screen, the device automatically captures and encrypts the fingerprint image before sending it to the DigitalPersona FingerJet™ engine for verification.
When the reader has captured the fingerprint image, it emits a red light to indicate that the capture process has been successful.
