The HID Guardian 200 is an FBI Appendix F (FAP 60)-certified fingerprint scanner designed for high-volume identity management applications. It provides simple, fast, and high-quality forensic captures for identity verification, registration, and government applications.
The device allows for the capture of flat and rolled fingerprints, even from wet or dry fingers, without the need for recalibration or pretreatment of the hands.
Its illuminated icons guide the user through the process, while its smart and automatic capture features— FlexFlat and FlexRoll —help ensure high-quality images on the first try. It also includes Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) to determine whether the biometric fingerprint presented is genuine.
