On Wednesday 24 May we celebrated the fourth edition of the K-Vision event in Madrid.[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Following in the footsteps of last year’s K-Vision at the Camp Nou, this year we have organised it at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium.
First of all, we would like to thank all the attendees who came to the stadium to see the products on display and who also attended the presentations given by the representatives of the Suprema, Evolis, Moca System and Kimaldi brands.
At the K-Vision event we want to showcase the main products and innovations of each of the exhibiting brands.
This year there were access control and time and attendance solutions by biometrics (fingerprint and facial), RFID technology, mobile access, QR code readers and card printers.
The main novelty was the stand of the manufacturer Moca System. This Korean company specialises in 100% cloud-based mobile access control systems.
KIMALDI
In our stand we presented the Kapri range: RFID, biometric by fingerprint, integration in turnstiles, identification by QR code and as a novelty we presented the Kapri RFID and Bio terminal with SFM fingerprint sensor.
Another novelty on the stand was the Flexy terminal suitable for outdoor installations. This terminal was switched on inside a closed enclosure where water was poured on it to demonstrate its correct operation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgZmZn_1tD8″ el_width=”80″ align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We also showed the Kaptio terminal in Android and Windows version. We had the presence of two software developers from Kimaldi to show and demonstrate the Kora time control software.
SUPREMA
At Suprema’s stand we had Baudouin Genouville, Sales Director, and Ghita Charouite, Marketing Manager, both from Suprema Europe.
On display were access control and time and attendance systems with biometric fingerprint and facial recognition. Also radio frequency terminals and QR code readers.
Product highlights included the latest facial recognition terminal, BioStation 3, and the X-Station 2 terminal for identification via QR code, mobile phone, RFID card and fingerprint.
Also on display was the Wireless electronic lock solution integrated with BioStar 2 and CoreStation. You can have up to 32 locks controlled by the same Corestation controller.
SUPREMA ID
Document readers and biometric fingerprint scanners such as the RealPass-N full-page document reader and the S60 biometric fingerprint scanner.
EVOLIS
Frédéric Legras, Executive Sales Manager, gave a presentation on Evolis, highlighting the main features of the card printers.
Attendees were able to see the Primacy 2 printer with the 200-card feeder, the lamination module, the KC-Prime printer for kiosk integration and the Sig100 and SigActive digital signature pads.
As for the cards, the eco-friendly PLA/MADERA card was a novelty. Made of PLA (polylactic acid, a sustainable substitute for plastic) and wood fibre as an alternative to PVC.
MOCA SYSTEM
The main novelty of the event was the presentation of Moca System and its products.
Joshua Smith, Global Business Development Manager, made an introduction explaining the company and the main features of Airfob products.
It is a 100% cloud-based mobile access control solution. It stands out for:
- Easy installation: no controllers, no additional wiring.
- Scalable: perfect solution for one or several locations with no limitation of users.
- Practical: use your own smartphone as a password and identification.
- Ready to connect: use Moca System’s free App or connect your own using their API and SDK.
The products on display at this stand were the Airfob Edge Reader, the electronic lock solutions with the BLE to RFID signal converter modules Airfob Patch and Airfob Tag. Also on display was Suprema’s X-Station 2 terminal integrated with Airfob.
VARIOUS BRANDS
On this stand we had on display Duali QR code readers, RFID tags, electronic locks and electronic document readers.
